Job Overview

In this role, you will be working as part of our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) division, assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans, and providing them with the support and guidance they need to navigate their healthcare options. Your primary responsibilities will include taking inbound calls, answering questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions, and offering solutions to help simplify our customers' healthcare experience. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and your ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and empathize with our members will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans, providing them with accurate and timely information about their coverage and options
  • Take inbound calls, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Offer solutions and guidance to help simplify our customers' healthcare experience, ensuring that they have the support and resources they need to make informed decisions about their health
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure that our members receive seamless and comprehensive support, and that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to ensure that your knowledge and skills are up-to-date, and that you are equipped to provide the highest level of service to our members

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to have a minimum of 6 months of experience interacting with customers, either in a call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, or military experience. A verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience working in a Call Center environment or Healthcare related field
  • 6 months of work from home experience
  • Healthcare certification (e.g. Med Assistant) a plus
