Key Responsibilities

• Master video editing workflows from acquisition to delivery, ensuring seamless operations
• Design and implement video editing workstations and shared storage solutions to facilitate collaborative workspaces
• Lead all aspects of media archiving, documentation, and retrieval processes
• Manage network switches and routers
• Offer robust support for Windows and OSX desktop systems, NAS, Avid, and OSX servers
• Contribute to motion graphics collaborative workflows using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, Maya, Nuke, and other motion graphics plugins
• Troubleshoot desktop/server hardware, professional video IO hardware, web-based technologies, and codecs
• Stay updated on industry advancements and provide insights to optimize processes and systems

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Proven expertise in project management and assessment
• A strong background in video production or media production facilities
• Basic knowledge of wired networking, LAN technologies, and experience with LAN/WAN support and maintenance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience with IP Video Transport, including RTMP and NDI, using modern CDN
• Related experience in live video production environments
• Relevant technical certifications
• Proficiency in supporting Unreal Engine environments
• Experience in creating and utilizing Smartsheet for workflow optimization
• Ability to offer robust support for desktop systems

Education and Training

A bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience is required for this role.
