Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, databases, and data systems that support our media business. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Decision Science, Client, and Technology colleagues, to drive business value through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities

• Gather data requirements and design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines, databases, and data systems
• Develop and implement data validation processes, ETL/ELT data pipelines, and overall process monitoring strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements, design data pipelines, and implement data solutions
• Design and execute database schema/tables/views, and deliver datasets as input to science models and representations
• Work with various technologies, including SQL (primarily Snowflake and PostgreSQL), Python, Docker, Gitlab, and Airflow
• Develop and maintain automated workflow schedulers and ensure data quality, integrity, and security
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenance
• Proven expertise in using Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
• Experience with developing in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOP practices for code management/development
• Strong understanding of relational database design and functionality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
