About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative (Student Loan Advisor) at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch support to our customers, answering their questions, and resolving any issues they may encounter. You will be the face of our organization, and your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in delivering a positive customer experience. This is an in-center position with the possibility of working from home after 90 days, provided you meet the required performance, attendance, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls, chats, and outbound calls to assist customers with their queries, provide detailed information, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Utilize standard technology such as telephones, email, and web browsers to navigate through our systems and provide support to customers
- Follow established policies and procedures, including working within our systems, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to ethics and privacy rules
- Assist customers with filling out applications and submitting them electronically for processing
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, including call logs and documentation
- Work effectively within established key performance indicators and metrics to deliver exceptional customer service
Schedule and Work Environment
Our schedule is as follows:
- Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm
- Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm
- Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm
- Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm
- Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm
Please note that you may be required to work holidays, and overtime may be necessary.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak and read English clearly and fluently
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
- Experience working with personal computers and the Windows operating system
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Word
- Excellent command of the English language, with effective use of grammar skills
- Excellent communication etiquette and customer service skills
