Job Overview

We are looking for full-time and part-time regular employees, as well as seasonal workers and temporary employees, to join our dynamic team. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with company-provided technology equipment and a stable internet connection. Our starting pay is competitive, at $15/hour, with potential for growth to $16/hour within the first year, plus merit-based bonuses and additional incentives for meeting Key Job Accountabilities (KJA) after 6, 12, and 24 months.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner, ensuring that all customer interactions are positive and productive.
  • Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the Communication Log, utilizing proprietary blithequark systems to provide accurate and up-to-date information to callers.
  • Look up member information using our systems and provide information to the caller, forwarding logs requiring further research to the appropriate department.
  • Transfer callers to the appropriate queue if the question is of a more complex issue, such as claims or authorizations, ensuring that customers receive the support they need.
  • Utilize appropriate resources, including online resources, to provide timely responses to customer inquiries, managing time effectively to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and follow-up is done in a timely manner.
  • Meet or exceed minimum key job accountabilities established for the Customer Service Representative position, documenting all calls appropriately and attending weekly staff and other meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel.
  • Respond to requests for internal and external customers and/or clients, as required, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and a commitment to meeting the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience performing customer service duties, preferably in an inbound call center environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary blithequark systems.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, with a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to meeting the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.
