Solid Rock Recruiting- #1 Doors, Frames, & Hardware Recruiter in the USA Job Title: Estimator — Division 8 & 10 (Doors, Frames, Hardware, and Specialties) Location: Northvale, NJ or Remote Our client, a well-established commercial openings contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This role plays a key part in supporting projects across Division 8 (Doors, Frames & Hardware) and Division 10 (Specialties). Key Responsibilities • Prepare accurate material takeoffs, pricing, and bid proposals for DFH and Division 10 projects • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to determine scope of work • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain pricing and technical details • Partner with project management and sales teams to ensure bids meet client requirements • Maintain organized estimating records, quotes, and bid documentation Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience estimating commercial Division 8 or 10 projects • SFH (Software for Hardware) experience highly preferred • Strong understanding of architectural drawings and hardware schedules • Proficiency with estimating and construction software tools • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary (DOE) • Remote flexibility with the option to work from anywhere in the U.S. • Opportunity to join a reputable contractor with steady project volume and supportive leadership "We are committed to providing equal opportunity for all applicants.
