About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing support to retired members or their family members, discussing retiree benefits, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. You will be responsible for receiving inbound participant phone calls, utilizing authorized computer systems to gather and confirm information, and providing accurate and efficient customer service support. Your exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to facilitate clear and accurate exchanges of information with callers, ensuring that their needs are met in a professional and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound calls in a timely manner, following call center scripts when handling different topics
- Research participant accounts and address basic questions or issues
- Provide accurate and efficient responses, keeping accurate records of all conversations and meeting contractual qualitative and quantitative targets
- Perform tasks associated with call handling, including basic plan and participant file research and updates
- Utilize authorized computer systems to gather and confirm information prompted by incoming calls
- Ensure that client calls are met with the quality and standards provided in training, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess at least six months to one year of experience working in an office setting, taking inbound calls. You should have demonstrated typing and keyboard skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to facilitate clear and accurate exchanges of information with callers. Your attention to detail, quality, and accuracy of tasks will be essential in delivering exceptional customer service support.
