About the Role

As an Inbound Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the first line of contact for customers who are seeking help with their missing pets. You will be responsible for providing a positive and reassuring experience for our customers, many of whom may be panicked or distressed. Your goal will be to listen attentively to their concerns, provide empathetic support, and work collaboratively with our team to reunite pets with their owners. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls from customers who are seeking help with their missing pets, providing a positive and reassuring experience
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns, ask questions to gather information, and provide empathetic support
  • Work collaboratively with our team to reunite pets with their owners, providing timely and effective solutions to customer problems
  • Adhere to daily schedules to manage inbound calls, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including day and evening schedules
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous call center experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
  • High School diploma or GED, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A quiet designated work area at home, if working remotely, with reliable internet access and a distraction-free environment
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and federal background check upon hire, as a condition of employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the pet care industry, or a related field, with a passion for animal welfare
  • Knowledge of customer service software and technology, with proficiency in using computer systems and applications
