Job Overview

This Senior Data Analyst position is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $27/hour. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting ongoing subscriber estimation for various business-critical initiatives. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected, by identifying which subscribers should receive our legally committed notifications. You will work closely with upstream reporting partners, episode management, Business Operations, and trade engineering to guarantee the integrity of our subscriber adjusts and that clients receive refunds when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage data entry and record data requirements related to subscriber messaging drives (including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected) and incident remediation (ensuring that the right clients receive refunds when required).
• Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes directly committing, to determine accurate partners of subscribers for messaging and/or remediation.
• Communicate business requirements to technical teams and provide brief summaries of technical progress and/or roadblocks to business stakeholders.
• Develop strong knowledge of subscriber adjusts and the technical system that underlies subscriber data.
• Manage project planning and schedules and oversee cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events.
• Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of strong communication processes and operational playbooks.
• In collaboration with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering, contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 3+ years of work experience developing in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline.
• 3+ years of analytical experience.
• Proven ability to deliver technical and/or analytical concepts to a broad range of audiences.
• Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages.
• Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills.
• A degree in a quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

• Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis).
• A postgraduate degree.
• Knowledge of Airflow.
