Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Call Center Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling high-volume client requests, and performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. This is a full-time remote opportunity, and we are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize blithequark's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter information into the system.
- Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
- Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
- Resolve all data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Provide support to pharmacists, both in the office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
- Obtain a valid professional license or certification within the initial 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, starting and closing programs, switching between applications, saving files, printing documents, and accessing information online.
- Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a page, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
- Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- 18 years old or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
- At least 1-2 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacies or a nationally recognized certification agency.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
