About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Customer Service Associate. As the first human touchpoint for our customers, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every interaction with blithequark is positive, helpful, and memorable. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service through various channels, including phone, email, and chat, and to resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of phone calls, emails, and chat messages daily, promptly, accurately, and courteously, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and helpful.
  • Track orders promptly and accurately, providing customers with updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Recognize and respond to cross-sell opportunities presented in order calls or email requests, upselling and promoting blithequark products to increase sales and revenue.
  • Resolve customer service problems promptly and accurately, within proscribed company guidelines, and in a manner designed to retain and promote customer loyalty.
  • Assist with order verification, damaged/lost package claims, and reshipments, ensuring that customers receive their orders in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A dedicated office/space that includes a computer, 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, and headset, allowing you to work efficiently and effectively from home.
  • At least 6 months of experience working remotely, demonstrating your ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • At least two years of experience working in a customer service position, providing support through email, calls, chat, and social media, and possessing a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Zendesk or a customer service ticketing system, demonstrating your ability to manage and resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently.
  • Strong computer skills and strong data-entry/keyboard skills, allowing you to accurately and efficiently process customer orders and resolve issues.
  • Experience working with metrics such as handle time, quality assurance, and more, demonstrating your ability to measure and improve your performance.
  • Willingness to work overtime hours and weekends during holiday seasons, ensuring that blithequark customers receive exceptional service during peak periods.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, verbally and in writing, with bi-lingual skills being a plus.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict quickly and professionally, possessing excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • High school degree, GED, or equivalent work experience, demonstrating your commitment to education and personal development.
  • A customer-first mindset, which is measured through customer experience feedback, demonstrating your ability to prioritize customer needs and provide exceptional service.
