Job Overview

In this critical role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our members, addressing their questions, concerns, and issues in a professional and empathetic manner. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work in a fast-paced call center environment, utilizing your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve member inquiries and provide timely solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels, providing accurate and timely information about our health plans and services.

  • Provide education and support to members on various aspects of our health plans, including benefits, coverage, and claims processing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as claims and billing teams, to resolve member issues and ensure seamless communication.
  • Utilize our customer relationship management (CRM) system to document member interactions, track issues, and analyze trends and patterns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or health insurance setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with members, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and provide timely solutions.
