In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic call center environment, assisting members and physicians with their inquiries and concerns.Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Advocate I, you will be responsible for:- Responding to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner.
- Conducting research to resolve complex issues and provide accurate information.
- Spending approximately 85% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs.
- Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that members and physicians feel valued and supported.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment.
- Data entry and/or typing experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions.
- The ability to spend approximately 90% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods with scheduled breaks.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:- At least 9 months of customer service experience.
- Experience working with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- A proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
