About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Associate to join our team in a remote capacity, based on the West Coast. As a Customer Support Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, working to resolve issues and answer questions in a timely and professional manner. You will leverage your system knowledge and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences to not only solve problems but also be a positive advocate for our brand. This role reports to a Customer Support Team Lead and requires a dedicated home office setup with a reliable and stable Wi-Fi connection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer-submitted live chats and emails in a timely manner, with a focus on resolving issues and providing exceptional customer experiences
  • Troubleshoot and guide customers through questions and issues with their account, billing, domain, or other transactional inquiries
  • Independently meet targets across quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction in email and live chat
  • Stay up to date on new product features and improvements, and identify isolated customer experiences and escalate important issues
  • Work a 40-hour work week that spans weekends and holidays, as our customers need us

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a commitment to empowering users to achieve their online goals. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1+ years of customer-facing experience in a similar role (retail, hospitality, online support)
  • Expertise with written communication and the ability to spot spelling and grammar errors
  • Proficiency with decoding conversations, identifying the cause, and aligning on end goals
  • Capability of prioritizing competing requests and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with the blithequark platform and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Consistent and dependable Wi-Fi and a personal workspace that allows you to be free from distraction and fully customer-focused
  • Currently living in Arizona, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon, or Washington

Essential Qualifications

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of customer support principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with customer support software and technologies
  • A degree in a related field (e.g. customer service, communications, business)
  • Certifications or training in customer support or a related field

Cash Compensation Range

The hourly rate for this position will vary based on job-related criteria, including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors. The cash compensation range for this role is $17.55 USD per hour.
