[Remote] Part-time Remote Trademark Paralegal -$50/hr. Hourly Contract Rate

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Placement Counsel is a well-regarded federal practice litigation law firm seeking a part-time remote Trademark Paralegal. The role involves supporting trademark attorneys by managing trademark portfolios, conducting trademark searches, and preparing legal documents. Responsibilities • Conduct trademark searches and performing clearance analysis • Draft and file trademark applications, statements of use, and renewal documents • Prepare and respond to Office Actions and Notices of Opposition • Monitor and manage the status of trademark portfolios • Assist with international IP registrations • Prepare and submit evidence in support of opposition and cancellation proceedings • Provide support to attorneys during litigation • Assist in the enforcement of trademark rights • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using docketing systems Skills • 3+ years trademark portfolio management and business/IP litigation experience • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate • Previous experience working in intellectual property or trademark law • Strong understanding of the USPTO’s Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) • Familiarity with international trademark registration processes • Experience with trademark management software like AltLegal, WebTMS, or similar programs • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment • 3+ years of experience as a trademark paralegal or equivalent • Strong understanding of USPTO procedures and trademark law • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trademark docketing software; will be responsible for court filings in many jurisdictions Company Overview • Selina Farrell is Placement Counsel’s founder, managing attorney, and lead placement specialist.
