Creative Scriptwriter

Description: We’re looking for a top-tier YouTube script writer who can take a creative vision — usually a title, format, and loose idea — and turn it into a fully structured, engaging, and retention-driven video script. You’ll be responsible for writing both word-for-word talking head scripts and flow-based interactive video outlines depending on the client and content type. You must have a deep understanding of how YouTube works — including how to write viral intros, hold viewer attention with storytelling, and craft pattern interrupts and re-engagement moments that stop drop-off in its tracks. Your job is to write like the creator talks, matching their voice, tone, and delivery style so the script feels authentic on camera. This is not a content writer role. This is scriptwriting for performance. You need to understand pacing, structure, and how YouTube viewers think and behave. Responsibilities: • Write YouTube scripts based on title and vision from a creative strategist • Word-for-word scripting for talking head content (10+ minute formats) • Scene-flow outlines for interactive, challenge, or vlog-style videos • Adapt to each creator’s unique voice and personality with extreme accuracy • Implement storytelling, pacing, hooks, and payoff structure throughout • Build in open loops, pattern interrupts, and re-engagement moments • Follow internal formatting and scripting systems • Receive and apply feedback based on video performance data (retention, AVD, etc.) Qualifications: • 10+ years of professional scriptwriting experience — ideally with a mix of digital content, YouTube-first productions, and performance-based writing • Deep understanding of YouTube storytelling structure and audience behavior • Proven track record of writing high-retention scripts for creators or brands • Ability to write in a raw, human, conversational tone — not corporate or overly polished • Demonstrated ability to write for multiple niches and creator voices • Must understand how to structure viral intros and craft re-engagement moments • Ability to take creative direction and deliver scripts with quick turnaround times • Bonus: Familiarity with YouTube analytics (click-through rate, AVD, retention curves) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
