Grants and Audit Compliance Lead

GRANTS & AUDIT COMPLIANCE LEAD Planned Hire – Consultant (Senior Leadership Track) Eula Blue is preparing to onboard a highly experienced Grants & Audit Compliance professional to serve as our Director of Grants & Audit Compliance. This senior consultant will support federal, state, county, and municipal clients by strengthening grant compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory oversight across complex public-sector funding environments. This role is designed for a seasoned compliance leader who brings structure, clarity, and disciplined execution to highly regulated financial operations. Required Qualifications • 10+ years of progressive experience in government grants, audit compliance, or public-sector financial operations • Demonstrated experience supporting: • – Federal, state, county, and municipal entities– Federally funded and pass-through programs • Deep working knowledge of: – 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance– Federal grant compliance and monitoring requirements– Single Audit preparation and coordination– OMB compliance frameworks– Grant lifecycle management from award through closeout– Cost allowability, allocability, and documentation standards– Subrecipient monitoring and risk assessments– Internal controls (Green Book and COSO) • Strong experience serving as an audit and monitoring liaison with external auditors and oversight bodies • Exceptional documentation, policy development, and compliance reporting skills Ability to Prepare • Single Audit support schedules and documentation • Grant compliance narratives and monitoring reports • Subrecipient monitoring plans and tools • Internal control documentation and remediation plans • Audit response packages and corrective action plans • Grant reconciliation and closeout schedules Key Responsibilities • Lead grant compliance and audit readiness engagements for client organizations • Oversee Uniform Guidance compliance across multiple funding streams • Support Single Audit preparation, execution, and remediation • Design and implement audit-defensible compliance and documentation frameworks • Strengthen internal controls related to grants management and financial operations • Provide technical guidance on allowability, documentation, and cost treatment • Serve as a primary audit and monitoring liaison for client teams and external auditors • Support corrective action plans and post-audit remediation efforts • Partner with Eula Blue leadership on high-visibility client engagements • Support modernization of grant management processes, controls, and documentation Who You Are You are a senior grants and compliance professional with deep experience operating inside government and federally funded environments.
