Internship Start Date/Season: January - May Internship Duration: 5 months Time/Days Required: 5 - 10 hours a week Job Description: The Writer Intern will contribute original written content to Catalyzer Media's digital magazine. You'll craft engaging, purposeful pieces that align with our mission spanning topics like youth empowerment, social impact, creativity, and personal growth. You'll collaborate with the editorial team, meet writing deadlines, and actively participate in brainstorming sessions to pitch stories that fit our brand's voice and values. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, eager to learn in a collaborative environment, and comfortable revising work based on editorial feedback. A basic understanding of SEO or interest in learning how to optimize articles for online reach is a plus. Key Responsibilities: • Write original articles, essays, interviews, or creative pieces that align with Catalyzer Media's mission • Meet deadlines and maintain a consistent publishing schedule • Receive and apply editorial feedback to strengthen writing and tone • Attend weekly team meetings for updates, collaboration, and idea sharing • Pitch new story ideas that reflect the interests and voices of young changemakers • Conduct basic research or outreach when needed to support your writing • Learn and apply basic SEO writing practices (e.g., using key phrases naturally) with guidance from our team • Collaborate with editors to ensure clarity, accuracy, and impact Skills and Qualifications: • Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to tone, structure, and storytelling • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Open to feedback and revision - willing to learn and adapt quickly • Interest in youth culture, social issues, creativity, or storytelling • Reliable communication and willingness to collaborate in a remote team setting • Comfortable using Google Docs, Notion, or similar project tools (or willing to learn) • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive Reference: ECNJOBID-66-249-70-104 in the application Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
