As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our customers. **Responsibilities** As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects that leverage the latest technologies and trends in data and analytics. Some of your key responsibilities will include: * Designing and implementing large-scale data systems that meet the needs of our customers * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that drive business growth and insights * Developing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AWS and other cloud-based technologies * Implementing anomaly detection systems to proactively identify and address potential data quality issues * Enabling big-scale analytics using EMR and other large-data technologies * Establishing and enforcing data quality practices that ensure data accuracy and integrity * Working on proof-of-concepts for the adoption of new technologies and tools * Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and scope data requirements and develop data solutions that meet their needs **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to have: * 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-based data infrastructure development * Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines * Experience with SQL and one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala) * Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex data systems **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, experience with large-data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and EMR would be a significant advantage in this role.
