Job Overview

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from forecasting and performance analytics to measurement and insights. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing actionable recommendations to drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
  • Analyze agent performance, proactively identify areas that require further research, and own analyses from start to finish
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to tell compelling stories with data
  • Present and communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and stakeholders
  • Build, maintain, audit, and continuously optimize reports and documents used to support various programs
  • Manage programs essential to business operation effectively under strict timelines

Measurement and Analytics

  • Leverage multiple reporting structures and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) for behavioral analysis and build/maintain reports
  • Supervise data quality and report accuracy
  • Collaborate with teams, leaders, and business partners to answer complex business questions with sound quantitative analysis and reproducible results
  • Apply modern analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends and share expertise and best practices with team members

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and a passion for data-driven decision making. The following qualifications are required:

  • 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in forecasting and analytics
  • Experience with time series forecasting techniques and modeling using machine learning or deep learning techniques
  • Proficient in Python
  • Proactive interest to understand the "why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
  • Effective verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Desire to excel in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:

  • Solid expertise in statistical inference and applying statistical rigor to analyses
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of proven experience in analytics or data science

Education

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required for this role.
