Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Call Center Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling high-volume customer requests, performing data entry tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and prescribers. This is a full-time remote job opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $25-$35 per hour and a chance to work with a leading healthcare company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize arenaflex's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter data into the system.
  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages to patients and prescribers, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide support and resolve issues.
  • Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse, and accessing information online.
  • Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, and completing forms online.
  • Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing documents).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing documents).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
