The Opportunity
Mbtek is a North American leader in advanced hydronic heating and cooling solutions. We don’t just sell products; we engineer comfort. From high-efficiency EVI Heat Pumps to industrial-grade Biomass Boilers, our equipment powers homes and businesses across the continent.
We are looking for a Sales Representative who can bridge the gap between technical engineering and commercial success. You aren't just selling a box; you are consulting on a solution. Because our Average Order Value (AOV) is high, your 1% commission structure offers substantial earning potential for a driven closer.
Key Responsibilities
Consultative Selling: Manage inbound leads and engage potential clients (homeowners, installers, and contractors) to understand their heating/cooling needs.
Technical Advisory: Guide customers through our catalog (Air-to-Water Heat Pumps, Solid Fuel Boilers, Fan Coils), ensuring they select the correct equipment for their square footage and climate.
Pipeline Management: diligently track leads, quotes, and follow-ups. You will own your pipeline from "Hello" to "Invoice Paid."
Closing: Overcome technical objections and price resistance to close deals effectively.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on HVAC trends, hydronic principles, and Mbtek’s evolving product line.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a "Hunter" mentality with an "Engineer's" precision.
Required Qualifications:
Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales (B2B or B2C). You know how to ask for the sale.
English Proficiency: Advanced/Fluent English (C1/C2) is non-negotiable. You must be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly over the phone and email.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, email automation, and reviewing technical diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications (The "A-Player" Attributes):
Native English Speaker: Highly preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in HVAC, plumbing, hydronics, or construction sales.
Technical Background: An Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil) is a massive plus. If you can read a schematic, you can sell our products better.
Compensation & Benefits
We reward performance. This role is designed for someone who wants to determine their own paycheck.
Base Salary: $600 - $800 USD / Month (Guaranteed).
Final offer depends on academic background, technical expertise, and relevant experience.
Commission: 1% on Gross Sales (Uncapped).
Note: Selling a single large commercial heat pump setup can yield significant commission instantly.
Target Monthly Income: $2,000 - $4,000 USD (Realistic OTE for active performers).
Growth: Opportunity to move into Senior Sales or Team Lead positions based on results.
