PHP Laravel / Vue.js Developer – Utility Billing Systems (Contract-to-Hire Potential) - Contract to Hire
We're a 30+ year software company building utility billing solutions for municipal and government clients. We're hiring a contract developer to start with a defined project—with the goal of transitioning to a full-time role if it's a good fit on both sides.
Tech Stack:
PHP / Laravel (Eloquent, Blade, queues, jobs) · Vue.js · MySQL · Git/GitHub · DigitalOcean / Linux
What You'll Work On:
Feature development for billing and payment systems, bug fixes, database optimization, and API integrations (payment processors, third-party services).
Looking For:
3+ years with PHP/Laravel
Solid Vue.js experience
Clear async communication
Bonus: legacy migrations, payment processing, or government/utility software
Details:
Remote, flexible hours. EST timezone preferred. Starting at $35/hour with a defined initial project scope.
