[Remote] Senior Data Engineer-Shape the Future of AI & Analytics on Azure

As a Senior Data Engineering Consultant, you will design, develop, and deliver modern data solutions that drive business insight and innovation, implementing scalable cloud architectures that support analytics and operational excellence. Responsibilities • Technical delivery in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies • Leverage advanced database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business, financial and operational analysis and/or reporting. • Develop high performing, reliable and scalable solutions. • Conduct data profiling, quality checks, and performance tuning for reliability and efficiency. • Ability to clearly communicate technical details to business and management personnel. • Perform data analysis that will support and enhance Information Management systems. • Author, oversee and gain approval of design documents for projects assigned. • Work independently or as part of a team to design and develop solutions. • Provide meaningful feedback and coaching of other team members to successfully overcome technological challenges. • Expand your knowledge in multiple tools and technologies. Skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree desired in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience • Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing cloud data solutions, preferably on Azure. • Expertise delivering cloud-based data solutions using Databricks and/or Fabric. • Proven ability to implement modern data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouses). • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and data engineering frameworks. • Experience using AI tools to enhance and expedite delivery. • Experience optimizing data pipelines and queries for performance and cost • You’re results oriented and have a reputation for getting things done. • You have a growth mindset and have a deep desire to continue to improve your skills. • You’re comfortable in fast paced environments. • You have a strong sense of responsibility for a project’s success. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile or Waterfall settings. • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to simplify complex concepts for business stakeholders.
