Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful, fair, and productive customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction
  • Register customer purchases on the designated sales register, collect cash, and distribute change as needed
  • Process voids, returns, delays, discounts, and trades as required
  • Keep counters and retail areas clean and well-maintained, take inventory, and maintain records
  • Check in and price stock as required or as directed by the supervisor or shift leader
  • Implement organization resource protection methods to identify and minimize profit loss
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items (e.g., liquor and tobacco products)
  • Develop and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale stock
  • Complete resets and updates as directed
  • Assist with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by policies/procedures
  • Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
  • Provide customer assistance in the photo area, including digital photo services, banner print, and creative machine
  • Take on web order responsibilities (monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fulfill orders, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store)
  • Assist with external and internal maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and deliberate store environment and appearance
  • Conform to all organization policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with colleagues
  • Complete special tasks and other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Previous work experience with arenaflex
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
