The role involves assisting clients with document preparation and privilege identification in construction dispute cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in locating and providing information and documents responsive to requests
- Prepare first drafts of answers and responses to discovery, including objecting where appropriate
- Identify documents and communications we need to assert are privileged, and complete privilege logs
Skills
- Experience responding to discovery requests in a practice area where discovery requests are not standardized or form-driven
- Ability to assist clients in locating and providing information and documents responsive to requests
- Ability to prepare first drafts of answers and responses to discovery, including objecting where appropriate
- Ability to identify documents and communications that need to be asserted as privileged and complete privilege logs
- Experience with Florida Courts
- Experience with Construction Law
