[Remote] On-Campus Multiplatform Video Producer/Editor (Oregon) - Big Ten Network

RemoteHunter is connecting candidates with the Big Ten Network for an On-Campus Multiplatform Video Producer/Editor role at the University of Oregon. This position focuses on creating and producing video content for Oregon Athletics across various digital and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards and viewer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver year-round Oregon Athletics video content for social, digital, and broadcast channels
• Collaborate with senior digital management and content coordinators to produce video for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Use editorial judgment and viewer trends to produce content tailored to the Oregon audience
• Coordinate daily content collaboration with the Oregon Athletics Department teams
• Shoot, edit, and produce long-form storytelling content for various sports series
• Shoot, edit, and deliver live sporting event content
• Perform pre- and post-production optimized for social media sharing
• Ensure all content aligns with brand standards in style, quality, and voice
• Cover real-time breaking Oregon Athletics news
• Occasionally serve as field producer on electronic news gathering shoots
• Manage video inventory and share assets with internal stakeholders

Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience producing custom digital video content
• Extensive knowledge of digital video production and content management systems
• Strong familiarity with Oregon Athletics, Big Ten Athletics, and relevant pop culture
• Familiarity with the network's programming, talent, and brand initiatives
• Proficiency with technology platforms and graphic design software including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and 3D software
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to shoot video at sporting events
• Ability to create compelling stories and execute ideas from concept to completion
• Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback
• Proactive with ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Bachelor's degree in digital media production or equivalent experience
• Production and editing experience with intercollegiate athletics or professional sports teams
