The 2026 Summer Nurse Internship Program offers nursing students the chance to apply theory to practice while developing essential skills over a 10-week period from May 18, 2026, to July 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Apply nursing theory to clinical practice
- Develop time management skills
- Develop problem solving techniques
- Gain confidence at the bedside through observing and performing technical skills
Skills
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing, pursuing your Associate's or Bachelor's degree, with completion of sophomore or junior year by May 2026
- Must be able to attend Internship Orientation (you will be assigned to one day upon Facility/Unit Assignment: May 14th or May 15, 2026)
- Must be able to complete internship with minimal absenteeism
- Must have flexibility to work rotating shifts (you will follow your preceptor's schedule - including evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays)
- Must have a customer service attitude
- Must be a team player
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
