Job Overview

The Information Association inside arenaflex's Direct to Consumer (DTC) business is looking for a Data Investigator to join our Pack Trial and experimentation group. This group plays a vital role in supporting the arenaflex Pack, which includes Hulu, arenaflex+, and ESPN+. This initiative is crucial to the expansion of DTC's streaming features in the US. Our team utilizes data, statistical modeling/strategies, experimentation frameworks, and various tools to help our business clients make informed, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Investigator at arenaflex, you will:

• Partner closely with business leaders to define the most pressing business challenges on Pack trends and drivers and develop analytical strategies to address these questions
• Help create a continuous insights pipeline, ensuring that all stakeholders have a steady stream of Pack intelligence
• Perform comprehensive trend analyses, evaluating the contributions of drivers from every possible angle
• Define and analyze audience segments to continue driving Pack growth
• Collaborate with other Analysis teams to understand and leverage all relevant Pack data from various sources, combining insights into a solid, meaningful story

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical work experience with R/Python/SAS (or another statistical analysis tool) and SQL
• Knowledge of statistical modeling, AI, and other quantitative methodologies, including but not limited to linear and logistic regression, hypothesis testing, data preparation for modeling, and segmentation techniques
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, and so on
• Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to apply business acumen to data analysis and recommendations
• Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to tell a story with data and to organize findings into meaningful proposals
• Ability to think critically, analyze and interpret market and customer data
• Knowledge of creating, executing, and analyzing sophisticated AB/MVT test builds

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience in the streaming media industry or other subscription-based services
• Experience working with Advertising teams or in the Advertising scene
