Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming complex calls or outbound appointments, offering compassion and empathy while using exceptional listening skills to identify customers' needs. You will be working from the comfort of your own home, with a schedule that includes an 8-hour shift between 7:00am - 10:00pm, Monday - Friday. As a Work from Home Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing clarification on their specific benefit plans or program options and resolving their needs in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming complex calls or outbound appointments, offering compassion and empathy while using exceptional listening skills to identify customers' needs
• Resolve customers' needs related to clarification on their specific benefit plans or program options
• Document all inbound and outbound calls and summarize calls in the case management system
• Adapt to and implement ongoing training as the company grows and develops in the healthcare consumerism industry
• Provide effective problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in the medical field, insurance verification, or a high-level overview of patients' or customers' benefit plans
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• A high school diploma or equivalent
