[Remote] Junior Analyst / Newsletter Writer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Finimize is a company focused on delivering financial insights to a large audience. They are seeking a Junior Analyst / Newsletter Writer to collaborate with the content team in creating daily financial newsletters and engaging with the community through social media.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the content team to write Finimize’s daily and weekly financial newsletters
• Scan the day’s newsflow and select the stories that matter most
• Write stories and related content in the Finimize style and format
• Develop and write insightful takeaways that help readers connect the dots
• Upload and manage content in systems including Wagtail, Sailthru, and WordPress
• Select and curate daily content features such as Graph Of The Day and On Our Radar
• Create compelling social media posts and actively engage with our community across different platforms

Skills

• Experience analyzing, discussing, and/or writing about financial markets (direct analyst experience or internships is a plus)
• Familiarity with best practices in social media content management
• Strong ability to understand and explain macroeconomic trends and financial concepts
• Ability to interpret and explain the performance of individual companies
• Strong numeracy skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrable writing skills and full professional fluency in English
• Willingness to work according to the newsflow (some late nights required) and meet tight deadlines
• A genuine passion for financial markets and investing
