[Remote] Multi-Client Small Business Accountant/Bookkeeper (REMOTE)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ledgr is an accounting and software provider that aims to simplify business financial environments. They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Services Professional responsible for maintaining client financial records and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary customer service to our client partners through a high touch, partner-first approach
• Utilize common industry software and best practices to manage multiple partner accounts to the highest standards
• Manage accounting procedures and processes, to include accounts payable administration, accounts receivable administration, payroll administration, maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers for consistent bookkeeping and budgetary analysis
• Ensure overall financial compliance and adherence to accounting best practices
• Provide general financial guidance, to include interfacing confidentially with both leadership and partners to ensure smooth financial operations
• Answer partner questions and maintain availability and responsiveness to the dynamic needs of our partners

Skills

• Bachelor's degree and / or military / work experience equivalent in accounting or related field
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles
• Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication skills with the strongest customer service focus
• Ability to handle information confidentially
• Proficiency with Google/Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel/Google sheets
• Proven experience meeting regular deadlines
• A positive attitude and desire to help entrepreneurs
• Advanced accounting degree
• GAAP accounting experience
• Familiarity with accounting software preferred (QBO, Bill.com, Xero, Dext, Melio, and / or related programs)
• Experience managing several bookkeeping clients at once
