About the Role

We are seeking dependable, enthusiastic, and team-oriented individuals to fill part-time/casual positions (19 hours per week or less) in various areas, including Sales, Print Shop Technology, Loss Prevention, and Textbooks. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Demonstrate "active selling" techniques, share product knowledge, and provide solutions to customers' needs
  • Maintain the appearance of the sales floor, set up seasonal promotions and visual displays, and monitor assigned areas for product restocking and recovery
  • Operate cash registers, assist customers with checkout, and execute cash handling procedures accurately
  • Support inventory and order fulfillment processes, including receiving and processing incoming merchandise and assisting with special orders and store-to-store shipping requests
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support to ensure a seamless shopping experience

Essential Qualifications

  • Pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for working with the public
  • Moderate computer/systems competency and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic, with a willingness to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required
