Position Summary

We are currently recruiting top talent for our Medicare Retiree Solution Customer Service Centers in the Houston area. This role will begin with 13 weeks of onsite training, followed by a fully remote work arrangement. During the training period, you will work Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift starting between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM CST, and ending as late as 6:00 PM CST. Please note that no time off will be allowed during this training period. After completing the training, you will work from home, maintaining the same shift schedule (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM CST) for one year, with a non-negotiable hourly pay rate of $17.50.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary goal will be to provide compassionate, innovative, and proactive service to our Medicare members. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Educating members about plan benefits, answering questions, and resolving issues based on incoming telephone contacts
  • Utilizing compliant documentation standards to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery
  • Providing empathetic and member-centric service, exceeding our members' expectations and ensuring every interaction is respectful and thorough

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential qualifications:

  • Empathy and compassion in your interactions with members
  • Patience and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Basic computer, typing, and telephony skills, or equivalent military experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous customer service experience, particularly in a health care or insurance setting
  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience

To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be comfortable with technology, including basic computer software and telephony systems.
