Machine Learning Platform Engineer
Mass General Brigham is seeking a Machine Learning Platform Engineer to maintain and enhance their cloud-scale ML platform. The role involves integrating ML models into clinical workflows, implementing ML Ops best practices, and developing user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop the ML platform
- Integrate ML models into clinical workflows, especially within Epic EHR systems
- Implement ML Ops best practices
- Facilitate deployment of dockerized pipeline containers
- Develop and improve user interfaces (ReactJS)
- Expand the ML platform's capabilities including Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Perform SQL-based data queries
- Generate and maintain datasets for ML research and clinical studies
- Oversee quality assurance processes and documentation standards
Skills
- 1-4 years of experience in data engineering, ML Ops, clinical integration, or software engineering
- Experience with clinical informatics systems, particularly Epic EHR integration
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience with frontend/UI frameworks, especially ReactJS
- Strong experience in containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS or GCP)
- Understanding of software best practices (Git, CI/CD, QA)
- Excellent communication skills
