Structural Analysis Engineer I - 051QE

As a Structural Analysis Engineer I, you will perform analysis-driven design through building structural and thermal simulations and delivering results to customers across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Generate finite element models (FEMs)
- Verify that parts and systems are adequately designed for requirements and environments
- Assist in redesign and optimization of areas not meeting load & environment requirements
- Generate custom codes to speed, improve, or expand analysis workflow and capabilities
- Perform pre-test analyses and model correlation
- Support test plan development and execution of feasibility studies
- Present findings and recommendations to the project team, company, or customer
- Document work using Microsoft Word or PowerPoint
Skills
- BS or MS (typically in mechanical, aerospace, structural, or similar engineering field)
- Training in finite element analysis (FEA)
- Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident)
- Experience with FEMAP
- Experience with HyperMesh
- Experience with NASTRAN
- Experience with Abaqus
- Experience with ANSYS
- Experience with MATLAB
- Experience with Python
