A Day in the Role
As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in processing various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Extracting data from medical documents and entering it into our electronic database via Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
- Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion
- Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
- Providing exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone
- Working in a metrics/quota-driven environment and meeting productivity standards
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Processing medical documents in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our electronic database
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients and responding to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of remote work experience
- Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting productivity standards
- Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace
- Own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
