Epic Integration Consultant – LIS / EHR Integration
Job Description -
We are seeking a resource with strong expertise in Epic EHR Laboratory systems to support the creation of dual code files from Epic LIS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Epic’s laboratory modules and a solid understanding of lab workflows, coding structures, and pathology data integration.Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and configure dual code files within Epic LIS.
• Collaborate with lab and IT teams to ensure accurate mapping of laboratory codes.
• Support integration between Epic Clinisys, CoPath, and Beaker systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize LIS code-related workflows.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and interoperability requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience with Epic LIS, Epic Beaker, and knowledge of CoPath / Clinisys.
• Strong understanding of clinical and anatomic pathology workflows.
• Hands-on expertise in LIS configuration, code mapping, and file creation.
• Familiarity with healthcare coding standards (LOINC, CPT, ICD).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
This is a part time 1099 consulting role. Maybe 10-20 hrs a month. Billed on actual hrs spent.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
