Role Overview As an Audit Associate at Workwarp, you will play a critical role in our audit team, working with a range of clients across various industries. With a focus on quality and attention to detail, you will be responsible for: Conducting audits and reviews of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations Analyzing financial data and identifying areas for improvement Developing and implementing audit plans and programs Communicating with clients and providing exceptional customer service Working closely with senior staff to ensure high-quality deliverables and meet deadlines Key Responsibilities As an Audit Associate, your primary responsibilities will include: Performing audit procedures, including testing and verification of financial transactions Evaluating internal controls and identifying areas for improvement Preparing and reviewing audit reports, including financial statements and management letters Communicating with clients and addressing their concerns and questions Maintaining accurate and detailed records of audit procedures and findings Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, laws, and regulations Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field 0-3 years of experience in public accounting, preferably in an audit or assurance role CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with audit software, such as ACL or IDEA Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and SOX Experience working with clients in a variety of industries Strong time management and organizational skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: Strong technical skills, including accounting and auditing knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Career Growth Opportunities At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
