Role Overview
We are hiring a Data Analyst / Underwriter to work directly with our Operations and Acquisitions teams. This role sits at the center of deal flow—owning data integrity, underwriting accuracy, and real-time analysis as leads come in throughout the day.
Core Responsibilities
- Underwrite properties in real time using Stag’s buy box
- Accurately determine property value using comps, market data, and internal criteria
- Collaborate closely with the Acquisitions team on pricing and deal structure
- Pull, organize, and maintain data from county records and public databases
- Prepare and submit FOIA requests as needed
- Manage and validate skip tracing data
- Track and report data-related KPIs tied to lead quality and deal performance
- Maintain clean, scalable data systems that support speed and accuracy
Required Skills & Experience
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Proven experience determining residential property values accurately
- Comfortable underwriting deals quickly without sacrificing precision
- Extremely organized and process-driven
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
- Clear communicator who works well across operations and sales teams
Who This Role Is Not For
- Those who need constant supervision or step-by-step direction
- Anyone uncomfortable making data-backed decisions in real time
- Individuals overwhelmed by speed, accountability, and accuracy
- Candidates who prefer theoretical analysis over real-world execution
- Anyone not confident in their ability to price property correctly
Why This Role Matters
