About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and re-verifying benefits.
• Assist patients with translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system.
• Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues.
• Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners, ensuring the timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations prior to fulfillment.
