Role Overview:
Own monitoring, reliability, and performance of modern data pipelines
Act as technical owner for Snowflake & BigQuery platforms
Ensure secure, cost-optimized, and scalable data operations
Responsibilities:
Monitor and optimize Snowflake & BigQuery performance
Implement RBAC security and governance models
Manage cloud cost controls and resource optimization
Build and monitor ingestion pipelines using Fivetran & Informatica
Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow
Optimize DBT models and data transformations
Implement monitoring, alerts, and SLA tracking
Troubleshoot pipeline failures and latency issues
Participate in architecture and design discussions
Must Have:
Strong hands-on Snowflake & BigQuery admin experience
Performance tuning and cost optimization expertise
Apache Airflow, DBT, Fivetran experience
Data pipeline monitoring & operations ownership
Strong SQL and troubleshooting skills
Good to Have:
High-volume analytics environment exposure
Cloud cost optimization (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure)
Experience in fast-paced data engineering teams
