[Remote] Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The DYN Collective is a Microsoft Partner seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Finance Consultant to join their consulting team. This role involves working directly with clients to design, implement, and optimize Dynamics 365 Finance solutions while leading workshops and ensuring successful end-to-end implementations. Responsibilities • Lead finance workstreams on Dynamics 365 F&O implementations across multiple client projects • Conduct discovery workshops and business process mapping with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance teams • Design and configure Dynamics 365 Finance modules, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management, Cost Accounting, and Financial Reporting • Translate client requirements into functional designs and solution architecture aligned to Microsoft best practices • Partner with technical teams on integrations, data migration, extensions, and reporting solutions • Support testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, go-live, and post-go-live hypercare • Identify process improvements and provide strategic guidance on financial transformation using Dynamics 365 • Create and maintain project deliverables including functional design documents, test scripts, and training materials • Lead end-user training and provide ongoing advisory support to client finance teams • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, solution accelerators, and practice development initiatives Skills • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) • Strong understanding of finance and accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, FA, budgeting, reporting) • Experience delivering end-to-end ERP implementations in a consulting or professional services environment • Proven ability to run client workshops, manage stakeholder expectations, and present solution designs • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project consulting environment • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills • Prior experience with a Microsoft Partner, consulting firm, or systems integrator • Industry experience in manufacturing, distribution, professional services, or multi-entity/global organizations • Knowledge of: Financial reporting tools (Management Reporter, Power BI, SSRS) • Data migration frameworks and integration patterns • Compliance frameworks (SOX, IFRS, GAAP) • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance • Experience with multi-currency, intercompany accounting, and global rollouts Company Overview • The DYN Collective is a specialized Microsoft recruitment agency driven by our passion for connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations across the Microsoft ecosystem from Microsoft Partners to End Users, and anywhere in between.
