Business Coach for Transition from Corporate to Entrepreneurship
I'm a senior professional in New York City looking for a business coach to meet with once a week as I prepare to transition from my current role to launching my own company.
What I'm looking for:
Weekly one-on-one sessions (video call)
Someone with real-world experience building or running a business—not just theory
Strong business acumen across areas like strategy, operations, financial planning, and client acquisition
Ability to provide accountability, honest feedback, and actionable guidance
East Coast preferred for scheduling convenience
About me:
I have over two decades of experience in operations and management, currently overseeing a diverse portfolio in a fast-paced industry. I'm ready to take the next step and build something of my own, but I want to do it strategically and avoid common pitfalls.
Ideal candidate:
US-based (East Coast strongly preferred)
Has launched, grown, or led a business—not just coached others
Direct, no-nonsense communication style
Experience working with professionals in operations or service-based industries is a plus
