Data Solution Architect; GCP, Looker

Position: Data Solution Architect (GCP, Looker) Location: Friendly We are looking for a Senior Data Architect who can effectively bridge the gap between business and technology. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams, so strong communication skills and an advanced level of English are essential. The project involves developing a chatbot / 'talk to your data' solution in GCP, so previous experience with Looker is required, along with C1-level English proficiency. Project information: • Budget: open • Type of employment: B2B preferred • Start date: depending on the candidate's availability • Type: one-year contract with possible extension • Recruitment process: HR phone call, technical online meeting, decision Key responsibilities: • Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into data architecture requirements • Design and implement end-to-end data solutions on GCP, including Big Query and Cloud Storage • Define and enforce standards for data governance, security, and quality • Lead the development of data models, ETL pipelines, and data integration frameworks • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and data engineers • Stay up to date with GCP advancements and industry trends to continuously enhance architecture strategies • Proven experience as a Data Architect working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially Big Query, Looker, and LookML • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and both structured and unstructured data—ideally including semantic models • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences • 10+ years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years in a Data Architect role Nice to Have: • GCP certification • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools We offer: • 100% remote work and flexible working hours • Project focused on innovative solutions • International environment with opportunities for professional growth • Friendly and supportive project team • Private medical care with dental care (covering 70% of costs) • Multisport card (also for an accompanying person) Data Protection Officer: iodlad.pl #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
