[Remote] Senior Marketing Analyst (Digital Ad Agency)

Blue Wheel is a digital ad agency seeking a strategic and technically skilled Senior Marketing Analyst to join their marketing analytics team. The role focuses on data-driven marketing, analyzing campaign performance, and leveraging Amazon Marketing Cloud to provide insights that drive performance across various digital channels.
Responsibilities
• Analyze campaign performance across digital channels to identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities
• Conduct deep-dive analyses using AMC to support marketing strategy and performance optimization
• Collaborate with account managers and strategists to define KPIs and solve client-specific marketing challenges
• Lead complex analyses and develop predictive models to forecast marketing outcomes
• Deliver strategic insights that influence campaign direction and client strategy
• Leverage AMC's SQL-based environment to extract, transform, and analyze audience and campaign data
• Build custom queries to understand customer journeys, media exposure, and conversion paths
• Create audiences based on client needs and data trends
• Develop AMC dashboards and reporting templates to visualize performance and attribution
• Stay current with AMC feature updates and best practices to maximize platform value
• Partner with media teams to translate AMC insights into actionable recommendations
• Serve as the day-to-day analytics lead for assigned clients, managing cross-departmental communication
• Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Create dashboards and reports that effectively communicate campaign performance and customer behavior
• Provide constructive feedback to junior analysts and communicate roadblocks or deadline risks to leadership
• Ensure timely delivery of recurring reports and ad hoc analyses
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in data handling and reporting
• Follow established processes and escalate issues when necessary
• Take ownership of analytics tasks from start to finish, ensuring compliance with data privacy and governance policies
• Mentor junior analysts and support project coordination
• Participate in team reviews and retrospectives to refine data approaches and improve reporting accuracy
Skills
• Strong understanding of marketing metrics and their business impact
• Experience with AMC and other clean rooms
• Proficiency in: SQL, Python/R
• Advanced Excel
• Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Qlik)
• Ad Servers, Marketing Automation Tools
• Web Analytics, Paid Media, Social, Retail Data
• Familiarity with campaign tagging, UTM tracking, and attribution modeling
• Experience supporting A/B testing, customer segmentation, and predictive modeling
• Years of experience: 5+
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn from peers and mentors
• Ability to provide and receive feedback constructively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science
