Psychology Expert
**Mercor is hiring experienced Psychology professionals** to support high-impact projects with leading AI labs and research organizations. Freelancers will contribute their expertise in both clinical and research psychology to help improve AI systems by shaping how models understand, reason, and respond in human-centered contexts.
• *Key Responsibilities**
- Review and refine AI-generated content for psychological accuracy and sensitivity
- Provide structured feedback on mental health and behavioral science contexts
- Support model training on psychological research and clinical reasoning
- Tag and organize content by topic, research domain, or clinical theme
- Assist with evaluation tasks to ensure models demonstrate realistic, safe, and ethical behavior
• *Ideal Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in psychology research, clinical practice, or related fields
- Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred)
- Familiarity with both clinical and experimental research methods
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfort providing critical, structured feedback

- Duration: 1–2 months
- Commitment: Part-time (15–25 hours/week, with flexibility up to 40 hours/week)
