[Remote] Financial Customer Service Professional - April 2026

They are seeking a Financial Customer Service Professional to provide support for retirement plans and ensure excellent customer service without sales pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone inquiries regarding retirement plans from participants, employers, and third-party specialists
• Provide excellent service for customers' retirement savings accounts within the call center
• Educate and empower customers without making cold calls or sales
• Communicate critical plan updates and changes effectively
• Process contribution changes, loans, withdrawals, and general account changes as directed by customers

Skills

• Availability to work a 40-hour work week outside of traditional business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays
• Associate degree or higher AND at least one year of customer service experience OR two or more years of customer service experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn and apply financial industry policies and procedures
• Capability to adapt communication style while servicing a diverse customer base
• Passion for providing quality customer service
• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• Previous financial services or call center experience
• Desire to engage with customers over the phone
• Ability to handle various customer inquiries with professionalism
• Experience in adapting communication styles to meet customer needs
