Claim Service Specialist - Farmington, CT - Hybrid

They are seeking a Claim Service Specialist who will advocate for customers by managing claims, inspecting damages, and ensuring accurate documentation while maintaining effective communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Talk directly with people who have recently experienced a loss
- Inspect the damage
- Investigate all documentation to ensure each detail is recorded accurately and fairly
- Thoroughly checking claim case facts
- Determining coverage, liability and reserves
- Accurately reporting on each settlement
- Navigate settlements with individuals, attorneys, and other insurance carriers
- Prepare and maintain well-written files
- Keep their teams up-to-date on current claims
Skills
- A true commitment to customer service excellence through positive, effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills
- Highly effective time management skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, fairness and impeccable organization
- A passion for helping others
- Will need to obtain CT License
- Some customer service work experience preferred
