Medical Writer / Medical Copywriter (Supplements & Health)

As we continue to scale, high-quality medical content is critical to our growth—particularly long-form articles, advertorials, and educational content that are credible, compliant, and conversion-focused. We’re looking for an experienced Medical Writer / Medical Copywriter who can translate complex medical and scientific concepts into clear, engaging, and trustworthy content that resonates with consumers while meeting regulatory and compliance standards. About the Role: This role is ideal for a writer with a strong background in medical, health, or scientific writing—especially within supplements, wellness, or regulated products. You will be responsible for writing and tailoring long-form articles, advertorials, and educational content that support our marketing, advertising, and brand authority efforts. You’ll work closely with our leadership, marketing, and creative teams to ensure content is accurate, well-researched, brand-aligned, and optimized for performance. Responsibilities: • Write and tailor long-form medical and health-related articles • Create advertorial-style content optimized for paid ads and funnels • Translate scientific research into consumer-friendly, persuasive copy • Ensure all content complies with supplement and health claims regulations • Adapt tone and structure for different channels (advertorials, blogs, landing pages) • Fact-check claims and reference credible medical or scientific sources • Collaborate with internal teams to align content with brand strategy and offers • Revise and optimize content based on feedback and performance insights Ideal Candidate: • Proven experience as a medical writer or medical copywriter • Formal background in health, medicine, nutrition, or a related field, or a licensed healthcare professional (e.g., MD, RN, ND, Pharmacist, Dietitian, etc.) • Strong experience writing for supplements, wellness, or other regulated health products (strongly preferred) • Solid understanding of health claims compliance, regulatory standards, and advertising restrictions • Ability to translate complex medical or scientific information into clear, engaging, and consumer-friendly content • Strong research skills with the ability to reference credible, peer-reviewed sources • Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with feedback and revisions • Able to balance medical accuracy with persuasive, performance-driven copy To Apply, Please Submit: • A brief introduction outlining your medical/health writing experience • 2–3 relevant writing samples (articles or advertorials preferred) • Any experience writing for supplements or health articles (e.g., Healthline) • Your proposed hourly rate or per-article rate • Availability for ongoing collaboration Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a short call to discuss scope, expectations, and next steps.
